New Indigenous Forest Map coming soon! New Currency Sunstones now available! The Wolf Online RPG Animal Simulator

The Wolf 🐺 finally announced the release of a new map early 2026! In 2025, The Wolf skipped their traditional yearly map release. Instead, they released the graphics update which some may say, was almost like a new map, by revamping all of the current maps. Especially Tropical Forest which is almost unrecognizable. However, to many other players, it still did not fill the void.

Today, community manager ItssBlue announced on Discord a couple of things, but the most interesting part was a sneak preview of the new map!
The new map is reminiscent to Green Hills with many environmental similarities. However, lusher! Filled with pine trees, a river that spans across the land, and hills you can admire from a distance. You can see tree barks used as a bridge to cross different parts of the maps, similar to Dark Forest's PVP map. In the center you can see a statue of an Eagle which gives indigenous vibes in my opinion. 
In this second picture you can see just how high the mountains reach with another statue but of a bear. In this angle, you can also notice in the far distance steam reaching to the sky which can possibly come from a waterfall or volcano. 

The animals I anticipate in this map are probably going to be similar to Green Hills and Dark Forest which includes bears and eagles. It is tough to match Jade Pillar's animals' difficulty, which is why this leads me to believe the map won't be a strongest map but an in between map, like Savannah Valley's release.

Unfortunately, I can assure you that this map will not be a Dinosaur map due to the obvious factors. However, I do anticipate extinct animals to roam the land. 

In this image here you can see where ItssBlue confirms the map is coming soon, while arguing with a discord member about the lack of development/bug fixes the game has, which is a different topic I won't get into at the moment 😅.
Sunstones is a new currency... 😒This currency cannot be rewarded in game like moonstones, instead they can only be earned by purchasing them in-app or via the webstore at a discount. The Sunstones are an exclusive currency used to purchasing the new released offers. 
The new released offers are purchase only deals. They guarantee legendary items, compared to the traditional legendary chests purchased with moonstones, which only has a 20% chance to receive. 
With these offers, legendary items are becoming a lot easier to attain especially for pay-to win players. Which can only mean a new set of items or mythical items are coming soon as well.

 Since the game's early development, The Wolf Online Simulator has endured many issues. Most of these issues are usually created after a major update has rolled out. ARMORS COMING LATER THIS YEAR? THE WOLF ONLINE RPG SIMULATOR

  On August 2020, The Wolf released a survey asking the players their opinions about adding items to the game. The suggested items would not only style but give boosts to the wolf. Apparently, the results from the survey were positive because a year later on May 2021, The Wolf Discord announced their plans to add this feature to the game and created a channel with a contest held for all the members to create their own items along with the effects. Many members participated demonstrating their creativity, the winners of the contest were announced on community manager itssblue's YouTube channel a month later.  The armor channel was then removed from the Discord and a couple months later Tropical Forest was released. Since then, many updates came along including bounty competitions and Hunting contests.
